Primary Health Care (PHC)/Community Health Services (CHS) Program Manager
Aloise is a seasoned project management professional with over 15 years of experience in donor-funded programs, specializing in public health and community health services. He holds a Master’s in Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Technology from Egerton University. Currently serving as the Primary Health Care (PHC)/Community Health Services (CHS) Program Manager at Amref Health Africa, Aloise has been instrumental in positioning Amref as a thought leader in PHC/CHS in Kenya and convening the CHU4UHC platform. He has led key initiatives, including the development of PHC Act, professionalization of 107,000 CHPs and establishment of over 270 Primary Care Networks (PCNs). Aloise’s prior experience includes managing malaria and maternal health programs at Population Services Kenya, where he successfully coordinated a malaria prevention and response program and provided technical support to county governments.
