Dr. Anne Mukuna is a Registered Nurse (BScN) and holds a PhD in Health Systems Management, with over 20 years of experience in nursing and midwifery education and leadership. She currently serves as the Acting CEO/Registrar and Director of Standards and Compliance at the Nursing Council of Kenya, where she provides strategic oversight and leads regulatory initiatives to uphold public safety through quality of nursing and midwifery education and practice. Anne has contributed significantly to the development of specialty nursing scopes of practice in Kenya and remains committed to advancing safe, high-quality nursing and midwifery education and practice, that supports PHC initiative, and attainment of UHC.
