Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto
Dr. Jennifer Wilson is a family and emergency physician in Ontario, Canada, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She serves as Director of International Partnerships and Canadian Consultant for Family Medicine at the Leyaata Hospital in Ghana. Her work focuses on advancing equitable, community-based primary health care systems through long-term global partnerships. She is the corresponding author of the “Nyansapo” model for PHC collaboration and speaks internationally on health equity, partnership, and systems transformation. Dr. Wilson is the DFCM Faculty Partnership Lead for the Africa Health Collaborative, holds a Master of Public Health in global health, and is the author of Grant Us Tomorrow: A Medical Memoir. She is committed to advancing Primary Health Care through partnership, education, and service.
