Masters Scholar, Amref International University: Zambia 

Mubanga Chibanga is a development practitioner and graduate student at Amref International University, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights and Policy. She works in programme and project management, supporting initiatives across sectors through coordination, stakeholder engagement, and results‑focused delivery. Mubanga is an Africa Health Collaborative Mastercard Scholar, and her academic path is shaped by a strong commitment to advancing the rights, wellbeing, and meaningful participation of women, girls, and young people. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Zambia, which grounds her work in systems thinking and an understanding of how social, economic, and policy environments influence health outcomes. She is increasingly focused on strengthening her analytical and evidence‑use capabilities to translate research and programme data into actionable insights that support accountability, inclusion, and resilient primary health care systems.
