Vice Chancellor, Women’s University in Africa
Sunungurai Chingarande is a professor of Sociology and Vice Chancellor for Women’s University in Africa. She has been Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University in Zimbabwe. She has almost 30 years experience in higher education, over half of which in University administration. She is a board member of the International Association of Universities, a board member of the Association of African Universities, a board member of the higher education accrediting agency in Zimbabwe, the Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education and a board member for the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Africa. Sunungurai is a social development consultant and a gender expert and resource person
