Dr Diana Onyango is the Head of Technical Team at Farm Africa providing overall technical leadership across the organization's core thematic areas in East Africa. She is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health. Dr Onyango has over twenty years of experience working in the private sector and with various NGOs in the Horn of Africa developing and managing country-level and regional multidisciplinary projects in East Africa on One Health, animal health and livestock production, food security and livelihoods. The most recent was the Livestock for Livelihoods project implemented in Ethiopia and Uganda aimed at supporting pastoralist women to engage in sustainable, small-scale goat-rearing enterprises contributing to increased household income, improved dietary diversity and nutritional status of their families.
