Kay Kutschkau, Lead Knowledge Management & LactaHub at the Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation (FLRF), is passionate about empowering people with knowledge. In 2017 he joined the team at FLRF to start developing the resource for evidence-based breastfeeding knowledge: LactaHub – A Resource for Evidence-based Breastfeeding Intelligence. He studied media, communications, and economics at the Freie Universität Berlin, and quickly became interested in the economic and technical conditions of disseminating information and knowledge in the rapidly developing digital media world, and consequently started a career in the growing digital sector of a huge German publishing house after successfully finishing his studies and earning a Master’s degree. At FLRF, he uses his skill set to increase equitable access to knowledge and foster new channels for effective knowledge exchange in the field of breastfeeding and breastmilk. He is a member of the International Society for Knowledge Organization Singapore, the Swiss Knowledge Management Forum and Knowledge for Development Partnership.
