PHC Incubator Awards

Description
Primary Health Care (PHC) Incubator Awards are meant to recognize the scientific/best-practice merit exhibited on the oral/poster presentations during the three-day event at the congress. Applications to PHC Incubator Awards are invited in three categories as follows:
- Best student research awards (up to three awards during the congress)
- Most entrepreneurial research awards (up to three awards during the congress)
- Most disruptive innovation researcher award (up to three awards during the congress)
Eligibility
All authors whose abstracts were accepted for oral/poster presentation at the Congress are eligible to apply. The abstracts must be well written, technically sound, practical, original, with a huge potential for current/future use and with a promise for significant impact on PHC.
For all awards:
- The abstract must have been submitted on time and accepted for oral or poster presentation
- The abstract must not have been presented elsewhere
- The abstract should not have a commercial focus or promote a brand, product, or service
- The awardee must be the first author of an oral paper or poster accepted for presentation at PHC Congress 2023
- The author must present the paper at the assigned oral or poster session of PHC Congress in 2023

The author must present his/her research work leading to the academic award in pursuant to respective postgraduate programme at a recognized academic institution

Most Entrepreneurial

Show-cases innovations that advance health care and, in turn, generate income that can be reinvested back into PHC and the health systems
AWARDS
Most Disruptive

Showcases innovative testing and disruptive technology solutions that improve PHC e.g. by patient care through diagnostic performance or access to high-quality testing
